Are you tired of not having a sexy mid-section? Would you like to finally get a nice set of abs in 2011? If you're like most people you probably create some type of New Year's Resolution to get a body you can be proud of. And if you're like most people you've probably figured out just how difficult it is to keep your New Year's Resolution. I'd like to share a few steps to help you out.

Step #1-

The first step is find a friend or family member who would like to join you on your journey. It might be hard to admit but 99% of all people have a difficult time doing things alone. There is nothing wrong with this either. It helps to have someone with a like-minded goal pushing you along. Now if you can't find someone similar, that doesn't mean you can't lose weight. It just means that it might be a little more difficult than you previously wanted.

Step #2-

The second step is to write down some goals that you want to accomplish in regards to living a healthier lifestyle. You need to create smaller goals to reach your final goal. Your goals also need to be as specific as possible. It's also important that you include a timeline as to when you want to accomplish your goals. "I want to lose 20 pounds by March 5th" is a goal that you might right down. Also make sure that you write down what you need to do to accomplish your goal.

Step #3-

The next step is to ask yourself if you're willing to pay the price to get the body of your dreams. It obviously isn't easy otherwise everyone would be walking around with a hot body. However, it's not impossible either. But if you have to lose 50 pounds you've got your work cut out for you. Are you willing to start eating healthier? Are you read to wake up early in the morning to work out before work? These are all questions you have to ask.

Step #4-

The last step is to keep a workout journal of all of your progress. Keeping a journal is important because it gives you a record of what you've been doing. How can you progress with your exercises if you don't know how much you did the last time? How can you know how healthy you've been eating if you don't write down the foods you eat? You'll love it once you get to look back after a month or two to see your results and how far you've come.
