Use Hypnosis to Quit Smoking

You cannot put that cigarette down, no matter what you do, every time you see it or think about it - you cannot help but have an immense, uncontrollable craving for it.

Why is smoking so addictive, why is it such an impossible habit to kick?

To understand the answer to this question, you must first understand how the subconscious mind works. Our subconscious thinks of things that we're not consciously aware of. Every moment of the day, whether you're awake or asleep, our subconscious mind is rapidly thinking of many different things.

Imagine that you've been smoking a cigarette once every couple of hours for the past five years, and then all of a sudden you attempt to quit "cold turkey".

You may do your best to try and will yourself not to have that next cigarette, but it's your subconscious that's so used to picking one up and putting it inside your mouth. Your subconscious is telling you "smoke it, you must," whilst your conscious mind is saying "no, I will not have another smoke".

Unfortunately, each and every time, your subconscious mind wins the battle, and you give in and have yet another cigarette.

Why does your subconscious mind always win? Because our subconscious consists of 88% of our entire thinking mind. That's right, our conscious mind comprises only about 12% of our thinking power, our subconscious mind does the rest of the thinking for us! With such vast odds stacked against the conscious mind, it's no wonder that someone is unable to quit smoking when they try.

So how do you influence the subconscious mind, and convince it to quit smoking?

By one simple process - Through Hypnosis

Hypnosis works by implanting suggestions deeply within our subconscious mind, suggestions that our conscious mind isn't even aware of. When we're in a hypnotic state, our subconscious is highly suggestible.

Imagine if you were able to tell your subconscious "I will not crave smoking any longer". If you were able to convince your subconscious that it didn't want anymore cigarettes, then you wouldn't crave them even if you wanted to! In fact, the very idea of smoking would disgust you.

Imagine how easy it would be to give up with your subconscious mind telling you that you don't want to smoke? It wouldn't matter whether you consciously wanted another cigarette or not, you simply wouldn't have one, because the power of your subconscious mind would tell you not to smoke anymore!

So how does one use hypnosis to achieve this

Using self hypnosis is a relatively simple process, and has been used clinically for many years. Many smokers may find themselves quitting their habit almost immediately from their first hypnotic session. Others may take a few sessions to achieve results.

If you want to learn hypnosis from the comfort of your own home, then there are plenty of hypnosis courses available that you can use.
