Skin is the largest organ of the human body. It helps protect, regulate heat, absorb and acts as a barrier so nutrients aren't washed out of our bodies. These functions of the skin are disturbed when it's excessively dirty. This is why proper skincare is vital in keeping our bodies healthy.

So, here are a few tips for making the most of your skincare routine.

1. SUNSCREEN: Protect yourself from the sun. Many foundations now have SPF in them.

2. DON'T SMOKE: Nicotine constricts blood flow so oxygen and nutrients can't get to your skin cells.

3. Cleanse and Moisturize: Make sure you use products for your skin type.

4. Drink plenty of water: Helps carry away the impurities from our skin.

We all want to take care of our bodies, so take care of the largest part of our body. Growing old doesn't mean we have to look the part. There are millions of skincare products out there to choose from. Make sure you know your skin type, and whether your skin is sensitive to products. There are also many natural products that you can use as well.
